Mr. Krishna Narine is an A.V. rated attorney who handles a variety of commercial matters including commercial disputes, antitrust and competition issues, business entity formation, asset purchases and sales, and real estate transactions. Krishna began his legal career as in-house counsel for Aviation Enterprises, an aircraft leasing company specializing in the De Havilland Dash-7 market. Since then, Krishna has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of matters in state and federal courts throughout the United States, including commercial and antitrust related disputes on behalf of clients engaged in a wide variety of businesses, including pharmaceuticals, oil field equipment, memory chips, liquid crystal displays, insurance, gas station franchises, medical transportation, POS transactions, and logistics and shipping. Mr. Narine also litigated gasoline pricing cases against major integrated oil companies and was actively involved in complex antitrust litigation for over thirteen years, playing a prominent role in two of the largest antitrust cases in history.
Throughout his career Mr. Narine has been partner at the law firms Salmon Ricchezza Singer & Turchi, Lauletta Birnbaum, Meredith Cohen and was a founding partner of Meredith & Narine. While representing business clients, Krishna successfully defended putative class actions brought under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and was counsel in data breach litigation. During that phase of his professional career, he was appointed by the Court Liaison Counsel and one of four Co-Lead Counsel of the indirect purchaser action in In Re: Processed Egg Products Antitrust Litigation, C.A. No. 08- 2002, MDL No. 2002 (E.D.Pa.).
Mr. Narine is now general counsel HLI Rail & Rigging, HLI Laredo, Mars Transformers and their affiliated companies. HLI Rail & Rigging, LLC specializes in the transportation and rigging of over-dimensional loads safely and cost effectively worldwide. HLI Laredo is strategically located to provide transloading and transportation for cargo being transported between the USA and Mexico, and from Mexico to Canada. Mars Transformers, LLC is a veteran owned and operated company providing innovative service and equipment solutions to the energy industry worldwide.
